Interview Series | Corchele with Because of Breklyn: IG @because_of_breklyn You are in for a treat with this Episode of Sunflowers & Red Feathers.  We had the privilege of being able to interview Corchele with Because of Breklyn and it was absolutely beautiful. Because of Breklyn is a charity that donates unstuffed bears to parents and all grievers alike that have to leave the hospital empty handed or suffering from empty arms.  This is such a beautiful charity and we can only imagine the love that fills the people that receive one of these bears! We really need to get something like this started in Idaho.  Thank you, Corchele for sharing Breklyn and Brek with us. Your story and journey are inspiring and we believe what you do is so heartwarming! Until next time, we hope you find hope and joy in your journey. πŸ’›❤ -Sunflowers & Red Feathers Check out our  flowpage  to see how you can #watchreadlisten to our episodes!

Marigold Moms IG: @marigoldmoms As part of our interview series, our next guest is Marigold Moms. They started Marigold Moms after they both lost their daughters. These two sisters have both known loss. They both lost their little girls only a few years apart. Though their experiences are different, they were bonded even more by their grief. Together, they created a community of Loss Moms. They talk about their girls, their grief journey, and encourage other moms to share their stories as well. These two together are hilarious! You’ll get some good advice but also a good laugh. They are adorably encouraging and inspirational!  It was fun being able to interview with them because of the connection they have. They are sisters so that comes pretty naturally to them already but there is something even more special about the bond that is created from the greatest heartache. It made us reflect on our own friendship and how instrumental it has been in our journey through grief. There is somet

Evolution of Grief

Evolution of Grief The fact of the matter is, we are different people than we once were. We have all changed since our children died. Some of us struggle with a deep depression, some have found hope and have joy in their lives. We are all on this grief journey together. Forever. And, if that journey is just starting, we believe that you need a foundation and a system to follow to help get out of that early grief. We get asked often, “How long will it hurt this bad?”, “Or when does the pain subside.” We know now that it will never go away completely, but having tools and outlets can sure help with the journey. Our grief changes us and we evolve right along with it. In this episode we talk about the changes that we go through and why it is necessary to get the help we need and build a community of people with hearts that understand, We were not made to go through life alone and we certainly were not made to grieve alone. Child loss is a complex type of grief and it is a hard subject

Check-In & What's Happening

Check-In & What’s Happening With Sunflowers & Red Feathers Our Interview Series is slowing down and we are looking for more topics for our episodes. We recently just had both of our boys’ birthdays and are trying to find our “normal” again.  We know it has been a crazy year. Last March everything kind of just shut down and not too much has changed in that regard this year which makes it even more crucial to have the support you need. Between insane weather, a pandemic, and more heartache than most can handle, the community you build is going to be what you need most. If you are in need of help finding your new normal, reach out. That's what we are here for. Until next time, we wish you all hope, joy, beauty and love. -Sunflowers & Red Feathers Check out our  flowpage  to see how you can #watchreadlisten to our episodes!
